Jamiat Ahle Hadees Bengaluru released a circular to all its mosques and schools urging the followers of Ahle-Hadees group to thoroughly investigate any Investment company claiming to be Shariah compliant.
The state level organization of the recognized national level Jamiat Ahle Hadees Hind also rejected the claims that it has ever endorsed any Investment company.
Following is the content of the circular.
Assalamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,
Over the past few months, it has been noticed that from different parts of Karnataka & particularly from Bengaluru, questions have been asked regarding the Investment Companies that have started and if these companies are shariah compliant? Do the members of Jamiath vouch for these companies?
Hence, Jamiath Ahle Hadees announces the following:
1. Jamiath Ahle Hadees has not vouched for any company and neither is it the work of Jamiath to verify about these companies.
2. Any individual, who invests in these companies, is requested to do his own legal verification of the company and also regarding the shariah compliance. The individual is requested to get in touch with reputed scholars and understand the shariah compliance of the company.
3. Any opinion given by any individual regarding any company will be considered as his own personal opinion. Jamiath Ahle Hadees is not responsible for any such statements made by any individual regarding the company.
4. Jamiath Ahle Hadees advices people who are into any kind of business and particularly investments are requested to keep it halaal and transparent. Hence, we request you to have your company policies, procedures and schemes to be clear and let it not be doubtful. Business transactions are also a part of deen, kindly adhere to shariah compliance.
