I have seen two extremes. One extreme calls to absolutely stay away from politics, not even to talk about the news concerning Muslims and the trials Muslims face everyday. And the other extreme calls for forming political parties, rallying and speaks out to give them the charge to rectify the affairs of Muslims. However, I have found a balanced Fatwa of Shaykh Albani which shows moderation in taking part in political discussions.
I have Cymophobia and I am not at all comfortable in boating into the deep waters. The thoughts of drowning and eaten up by the Sharks scare me a lot. However, I cannot force my opinion on a professional diver who has spent years in diving and teaching it. I cannot scare him about Sharks and call him ‘arrogant’ for not accepting my opinion based on my personal phobia.
